What synergies exist between American Indian efforts to justly transition to climate neutrality and those in Germany? In this lecture-style event, professor Dina Gilio-Whitaker introduced the audience to American Indian fights for environmental and climate justice, taking particular care to include a non-North American audience.

This event explored the synergies between the North American Indian and German experiences of their respective countries’ green transitions, and shed light on lessons learned from American Indians that can apply to the German context.
