Carbon Pricing Relive
Content

In light of proposals surrounding a Climate Club and the role carbon pricing could play, this event explored transatlantic learnings on the continuum of centralized carbon pricing approaches. Panelists discussed the merits and challenges of harmonizing multilevel carbon pricing in Europe/Canada.

Key questions analysed were: How is collective ambition realized via coordinated (sub)national efforts? What lessons can be learned from the Canadian Federal Backstop and the various carbon pricing frameworks within the EU in efforts to reach collective climate policy ambitions?
