Tues. 25 April 2023

For information on registration, please email elsiespitzer23atgwmail [dot] gwu [dot] edu (elsiespitzer23[at]gwmail[dot]gwu[dot]edu)

On Tues. 25 April 2023, from 9:00am-2:00pm EDT (15:00-20:00 CEST), the George Washington University and adelphi/the Transatlantic Climate Bridge will hold an online roundtable workshop among high-level participants representing subnational governments and their coalitions (primarily but not exclusively from North America and Europe); the European Union; European diplomats and officials; U.S. government representatives (from the executive and legislative branches); multilateral organizations; non-governmental/private sector actors; and think tank/academic experts.

This off-the-record workshop will comprise a keynote address and three segments, each of which will be headlined by brief introductory comments from uniquely insightful speakers, followed by moderated discussions among all participants (who should each expect a c. 5-7-minute speaking time per session).

Alongside this workshop, we will aim to produce additional deliverables such as factsheets, op-eds/policy memoranda and brief podcast interviews with selected speakers, the latter of which will be made available in the days following the meeting (by way of GWU’s and our partners’ online platforms).
